Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Kentucky State Parks are offering special packages and programs in February.

State parks offer a great chance for a getaway weekend along with excellent food, entertainment and natural beauty and scenery. Listed below are the parks with Valentine’s packages and programs. If you’re looking for a quiet setting and excellent food to help celebrate this special day with a loved one, consider a Kentucky State Park. The buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on February 13th, and will include salad and desserts, along with plenty of vegetables and entrees. Only $12.99 plus tax.

This weekend is a tradition at Barren River. Bring your sweetheart for a weekend that will take you back to the 50’s. Tons of entertainment and fun including a Sweetheart 'Sock Hop' with a DJ on Saturday night, lots of games and couple activities including the Not So Newlywed Game, and sweet treats!
