It was taken by Jim Pearson of Madisonville, Kentucky. The weekend hosted 47 participants in three different divisions (point & shoot, intermediate, and masters).

Birds of Summer

During the summer the forest is alive with nesting birds. If you hike one of the park's trails you will almost definitely hear Carolina Wrens and Eastern Wood Pewees, as well as many other birds. Three species that have been seen almost daily at the park are Wild Turkey, Indigo Bunting, and Red-headed Woodpeckers.READ MORE
